Consumption & Storage

All our pastries are best enjoyed fresh on the day you receive them, that’s when their textures and flavors shine brightest 🌸

But if you wish to keep them for longer, here’s how to store and refresh each item for the best experience.

🕒 SAME-DAY & SHORT-TERM STORAGE

Cardamom Bun

  • Store: In an airtight container at room temperature.

  • Keeps: Up to 2 days.

  • Refresh: Microwave for 10–15 seconds to restore softness.

Tebirkes

  • Store: In an airtight container at room temperature.

  • Keeps: Up to 2 days. Texture will soften.

  • Refresh: Bake at 160–170°C for ~3 minutes to bring back crispness. (Let cool after coming out of the oven so the caramelized skirt can reharden)

Chocolate Cinnamon Croissant Knot

  • Store: In an airtight container at room temperature.

  • Keeps: Up to 2 days

  • Refresh: Microwave for 10–15 seconds to restore softness.

Pecan Pumpkin Cookie

  • Store: In an airtight container at room temperature.

  • Keeps: Up to 4 days.

  • Refresh: microwave for ~10 seconds for a gooey center

Ginger Molasses Cake

  • Store: In an airtight container in the refrigerator.

  • Keeps: Up to 3 days. Best enjoyed at room temperature.

  • Refresh: Remove from the fridge 30–45 minutes before serving to allow the crumb to soften. Can warm slightly to best restore texture, but ganache may slump.

Apple Spandauer

  • Store: In an airtight container in the refrigerator (due to the pastry cream).

  • Keeps: Up to 2 days. Best enjoyed the same day for optimal texture.

  • Refresh: Let come to room temperature before serving. Can warm slightly, but pastry cream may slump

Rugbrød

  • Store: Wrapped or in an airtight bag/container at room temperature.

  • Keeps: Up to 4–5 days. May be sliced and frozen for longer storage.

  • Refresh: Toast slices lightly before serving to restore freshness.

Blackberry Compote

  • Store: In the refrigerator.

  • Keeps: Up to 3 weeks unopened. Once opened, consume within 1 week.

  • Refresh: Stir gently before use.
